Archives of New Island Collection is now at the WPTS!

There has been interest among visitors in the Archives of New Island. The Archives collection was on display in the Library of  Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC), in the city of Green Bay on a bay called Green Bay that is part of Lake Michigan, an inland sea, or Great Lake, in the USA, North America. (a vast place!) The archive has since moved to the library at the West Putney Technical School, a sister college of NWTC.
An exhibition of paintings and drawings of New Island scenery, maps, stamps, official documents and artifacts such as the island's currency and flag will be up until further notice. If you live on or visit New Island, go see it!

On New Island the West Putney Technical School is housed in the tall building behind the Maidstone Cafe. Today was declared a 'surf day' because of unusually high waves distracting the students and most instructors.

West Putney is  easily reached by streetcar from downtown Putney.
Putney is New Island's major cultural center and a major port city.
